Growing a Swiss Startup from Zero to 50 Countries

with Michael Weber

· Tech Media and Telco

I recently had the chance to interview Michael Weber, Co-founder of Seedstars, a global online company builder that launches ideas, grows startups and builds companies in emerging markets and is building a platform of change makers aiming at solving local problems and impacting people’s lives.

Michael Weber obtained his BSc from HEC Lausanne in Switzerland and was an avid gamer and tech enthusiast who once threw caution to the wind when he founded and sold sosport.ch. Prior to starting up Seedstars, he worked several years in M&A with a focus on medium-sized transactions in Europe.

In the interview below, Michael shares how he was able to grow the Swiss startup from zero to 50 countries, why execution beats Powerpoint presentations and the power of strategic partnerships.
